🧪 Lab Realism Improvements
This release introduces a major step forward in lab realism, making training environments closer to real-world enterprise conditions and giving them more variability.
We now support:
- Automated Active Directory enrollment of lab machines
- Randomized initial user logins on each client workstation
- Deployment of randomized files across lab endpoints to simulate realistic enterprise activity
These improvements help create more dynamic and realistic information systems for training and testing purpose.
💡 New Trial Account Creation Capability
Users can now create trial accounts from the platform, directly on the app portal link: https://app.mantis-platform.io
This new feature simplifies onboarding and allows faster access to M&NTIS environments to discover its capabilities.
🔐 Permissions System Overhaul
We have fully redesigned the permissions system to improve scalability, clarity, and long-term maintainability.
Key changes include:
- A completely reworked permissions model
- Improved control over user access and role management
- Removal of legacy and obsolete permission paths
Additionally, the ability to launch unit attacks has been currently removed as part of system cleanup and modernization. Unit attack catalog is still accessible, as they are used inside attack scenarios.
